Welcome
It gives us great pleasure to welcome you to our website. You will find lots of information about our school. We are proud of our school and consider all our children, parents, families, staff and wider community to be a crucial and valuable part of Team Tivetshall. (#TeamTiv)
We are working hard to maintain and build on the success of our predecessors, whilst ensuring that Tivetshall Primary School continues to evolve as a learning community, providing high quality teaching, learning and life experiences.
We strive to live our school values, which are: motivated, ambitious, resilient and kind (MARK). We regularly see our staff and children living these values. We celebrate success in many ways although we particularly enjoy our weekly assemblies, when we gather to celebrate these achievements and award our MARK animal awards (motivated – monkey, ambitious – alligator, resilient – rabbit and kind – kangaroo).
Our staff are hardworking and committed to doing their best for each and every child in our school. Our curriculum is designed to ensure it is fully inclusive and meets the needs of our children. The size of our school is its greatest strength as we can tailor learning and wider opportunities to the needs of each child.
Tivetshall Primary School is situated in the village of Tivetshall St Mary, Norfolk and was opened in 1876. Our school sits on a large site including extensive playing fields and outdoor learning space which allows us to embrace our outdoor learning ethos. We offer a wonderful, stimulating learning environment for our pupils and have a very good relationship with the local community who engage with the school for events and celebrations.
Many exciting initiatives are always taking place at Tivetshall, details of which can be found throughout our website and on our social media.
We hope that this website gives you a flavour of what our school is like, however, please do get in touch with us if you have any questions, or better still come and visit!
